I read somewhere that Powershift is designed to partly engage both the forward and reverse clutches when it is standing still, and getting moving raises the pressure to release the 'dragging' unwanted clutch. Per what I read, this is to counteract the tendency to creep that is inherent in this type of internal clutch packs. Can anybody quote where this is documented? Can it be adjusted?
This 'bound-up' feeling is quite noticeable on my YM186D, while the YM240 (YM2000) rolls as easily as you would expect for a manual transmission in neutral.
