From the After EA facebook page:
I wonder if the ex-wife got the house and the business in the divorce settlement?

Ted's fb profile was changed to single and a deed transfer for a property had his (ex) wife's name followed by "a single person" or maybe individual. Can't remember, but she's single.

For anyone interested in the new buildings inspections. Here's a link to Catawba County Building Services for their parcel. This lists all permits so only the "New Building" ones apply. Clicking on GIS on the page will take you to the county's GIS (Map) server.

Mechanical is the biggest issue inspected by Jacob Justice. I liked that name.
These were his last reasons to fail on 9-8-2022
1. Bath exhaust terminations must terminate outside per plans
2. Will require rfi for intake air duct for office areas, not per plans

condensate line installation
4. Will need letter for condensate line system for proper sizing and manufacturer
recommendation on how much unit heaters can be tied together
5. Properly terminate condensate lines from unit heaters, see exterior termination
locations
6. Per unit heater installation instructions figure 13.1 adapter box with combustion
air intake pipe attached, box not adequate size for model 310

2. Rfi for bath exhaust fans terminating inside of building
3. Rfi for condensate line for unit heaters and provide specs on condensate pump

They were approved to start 4 heating units for temporary heat on 12-22-22
On Gas inspections by the same inspector. on 9-8-22

A week before

Those are the Failed items that have not been corrected.
Finals have been received for Plumbing on 8/30/22 and Electrical on 4/6/23.
Fidelity National Title Company, LLC in Raleigh is listed as the Lien Holder. They will not take kindly to any failure to pay while receiving a construction loan. I was hopeful it was them. They hate fraud with a big passion and have tons of lawyers.
TC Corriher Implement Company INC DBA Everything Attachments is listed as the owner.

That works to a point.
But how about the people who don't know about the train wreck, and order stuff today or tomorrow?
How about people expecting someone to answer the phone to address issues, parts, and orders?
I guess the only "proper avenue to recoup any monies" leaves a bad taste in my mouth too... it wasn't the credit card companies who stole from EA customers. But now they have to pay millions in charge backs?

Unlike you, I DON'T hope they rebound back into the same rut.

I DO hope the employees who worked hard, and deserve to provide for their families have quick employment and better conditions soon.
When the CC company makes us whole, they go after the company that did the deed. If that company does not pay back the CC company the expense goes back to the CC company. The only way the CC company can retain profitability is to pass those loses on to other merchants, as increased fees, or the CC holders by increasing interest rates, or a combination of both.

There is no "free lunch". Someone pays.

Today I was telling someone my predicament with EA which they knew nothing about but little did I know they actually knew Ted personally. Nothing he said changes anything but it does reveal a pattern. Take this how you want but he had personal dealings that didn't end well with Ted years ago as they are both in the implement business. He had nothing but good things to say about his brother and that we could probably give him a call anytime and he would fill us in if he knows anything. Apparently this isn't the first time Ted has been involved in fraud of this nature. From what I was told, 25+ years ago, he had a tractor/implement store in an old car dealership, he got caught up in buying grey market tractors at auctions (yanmar) throwing a new hour meter and a slick new paint job on them and selling them as new. Even went into felony cocaine charges from way back and how he moved that business out of the county it was in because of his charges (sounds familiar). Additionally he said his father Charles would always bail Ted out of any trouble he got in. Prior to meeting Ted, he recalls being at an auction and watching a car drive past where everyone else had to park, and pulled through the crowded place like they owned it. He remembers asking someone who that was, Ted Corriher they replied. History does repeat itself I suppose.

I wonder how that many punch list items got accrued without the Project Manager or the General Contractor not knowing about them? That large of a construction project doesn't happen without either a project manager or general contractor, or both. EA should have had a Project Manager, probably from his architectural firm. The General Contractor should have management within their company that should mange their sub-contractors work progress and work quality.

I was shocked to read EA was having a problem. I was impressed with them and have been a fan of their grapple I have. No, I did not try to read pages of post but as one pointed out strange things can happen and take a while for the true picture to come out. (the guy with the heart attack story)

How do you know that for a FACT? What happens when you actually enter a CC number for a purchase and hit "Complete transaction"?
You first!
There is no notification on their website of possible problems fulfilling order in a timely manner. A reputable person/dealer/company would have by now. The only action they seem to have taken was to suspend their Facebook page.
I took the complete order using PayPal right up to the point of authorizing the money to be deducted from my account. It never should have gotten that far if they can't complete the order.

There could be legal issues with attempting to close down the web site.

I have issues now acting on someone's behalf trying to close out accounts.
There are no legal issues involved with closing a website or putting up "HAVING ISSUES WITH OUR ONLINE ORDERING. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER" banner on their pages. I have the feeling that the house of cards came crashing down and the owner is beyond caring what happens to the business or his customers now.
The website has the look of an amateur godaddy type site that is usually maintained by a manager or employee.

It's a question of "what did they know and when did they know it", and "was there anything they could have done". Also there is a difference in legal duty and moral responsibility.

And I think Muhammad recognizes that now. He has taken some additional positive stepts to further disconnect TBN from EA and provide some notice to TBN members to use caution when ordering from EA right now.

Your statement above is completely absurd.

Absurd? I believe your grasp of civil proceedings may be a bit misguided.

By your logic, a provider must undertake a vetting process related to every single ad and know the intent of the company supplying the ad. Following your logic, you should also file against the company that built the server and the ISP because without them the ad would not be seen. Also, you better go after your internet provider since they supplied you with the service to see the ad, oh, and don't forget your computer manufacture......

You seem to want to make sure you blame everyone possible for the suffering these ads created and recover “damages” that have been sustained due to their negligence.

Or call the credit card company and dispute the charge and move on. In the grand scheme of life, it is not that big of a deal.
