I Just got someone to print out the PDF manual 400 pages and its pain to read. It combines the 148 and 135 in the one service manual. Is this the Standard workshop manual.
I found the operators manual at a second hand bookshop for 2 dollars! I will try a local Massey Dealer, thanks

Yes, I think the originals did cover more than one model. I got mine from the US, still sealed, off Ebay pretty cheap and it covers nearly every 200 series tractor. Its about 3 inches thick and around 600 pages! That's the way Massey did it. If you put it in a 4 ring binder, that should help.

Result on the operator's manual....what's the chance of that happening!

One other important tip I found: don't go by the colour of the hydraulic oil at the dipstick. Mine looked clear and clean there, but the colour from the sump drain was a totally different story....all the cr_p settles to the bottom. It's very important to keep the hydraulic oil in good condition, although its expensive to change......around $250. I use Castrol Agri MP Plus Agri MP Plus | Engine Oils | Off-Road | Products | Home. You can use it in the engine and the hydraulics (but not the power steering if you have it) so keeps things simple. It's the same stuff that AGCO sell as their Universal oil.
