Tractor
Kioti, kubota
Well I used the tractor yesterday putting out a bail of hay and noticed a 1/8” wide spit in the wheel. Not sure what I’m going to do yet, but I’m not buying another one just to have it do the same thing.

My 6010 did this as well. Replacement steering wheel was quite different. Should be covered under warranty if you have any left. Took awhile to get replacement. Dealer said he had numerous tractors doing this and at the time Kioti was back ordered getting them replaced.

Hummm good to know about the replacement wheels being different. I don’t have any bumper to bumper warranty left, and my original dealer past away and his family closed up shop. I’ll have to make some phone calls then and see what I can come up with. I used a friends DK35 a while back to clear some of my side by side trails and really liked the steering wheel on it, it was a bit deeper offset and a bit smaller grip diameter , thought about ordering one like it. Plus his is been around out in the weather for years and no issues.

If you can't get any help with the wheel, you might just have to use RTV to fill the crack carefully and just go on in life. Fill the crack to just over over full, and go over it with a smooth cloth with just a bit of vinegar on it to smooth the crack to the level of the original wheel. The Black RTV silicone should be flexible enough to fill the crack and hopefully stay in place. I haven never done this, but this is what my active little mind says to do. My DK35se wheel still looks brand new.

For now the RTV fix will be what I do, until I decide on a new wheel.
