Stereo System?

Thinking about installing a marine grade water splash-proof stereo system on my Bobcat CT230 tractor, mainly for iPdo hook up. If anyone has installed a stereo system on a tractor, please post pics and/or give some input!

I think there was another thread around this topic not to long ago.

Most felt at the time that the headphone route was the way to go.

I was also looking for something recently. I stumbled upon this.

Motorcycle / yacht 2 speakers + amplifier + radio pkg

Cheap, perfect for ipod, and I couldn't find anything negative about it.

I would strongly caution anyone operating a tractor especially pulling any attachment from using headphones . You don't want to deprive yourself of one of your main senses...Hearing ! I was bush hogging this past year and head an abnormal sound and looked back and saw that I had lost a link pin...that bush hog or any attachment could crawl up one of your back tires and join you in the tractor seat..Be real careful out there and stay completely engaged with the chore at hand...getting done and coming home safe. Just my 2 cents.

I welded a simple bracket that fits into the slow moving sign which holds a work-site radio. I love this radio

It is loud enough to be heard over my RMM. I've been on and off the tractor with the radio playing for 8 hrs... re-chargable at night.
