Hi Bob,
I have a similar sized Kubota used for about the same things, mostly weekend warrior work, and I use maybe five gallons of fuel on a busy week. I have a five gallon container for fuel. I try to top off the tractor fuel tank when I get under the 3/4 full mark. As soon as the fuel container gets less than 1/4 full I throw it in the truck and fill it the next time I go by the gas station.
This way I always have fresh fuel and I am fairly confident that I get fuel blended for the season. As a precaution I add Power Service fuel conditioner to my container every time I fill it. I think you will find that the tractor is pretty stingy in the fuel consumption area. I would rather make an extra trip to the gas station than have to deal with stale fuel.
