Storing large volume of diesel

Junkman! For the difference do you invest in the silver one or just get the white one? Also can I just dump it in the tank of diesel (its already full) or should I attempt to mix it around.

When I was last there, the silver container was partially filled, so I didn't buy it. One problem that I have found at Wally World is that people will open containers and fill the one they are purchasing to the very top and leave the partial one on the shelf... at least at the one that I go to. I use the white container and just put it in with the tractor fill up. If you purchase the 3 quart size, it will treat 300 gallons. I believe that it will disperse in the fuel without agitation after a few hours. It is a petroleum based product, so they should mix quickly. For the small difference, I will be trying the silver bottle next time. The price difference was under a $1.00 for the 3 quarts. Junk......

Ok Thanks I'll get the silver I'd love to tell you that I'd let you know if the cetane difference gave me more power or not but the tractor is still not here yet so I won't even know if it's better or not.

Steve if your tank has already been filled assuming you use an electric pump on your diesel tank, pour in the additive of your choice, put your nozzle in the fill hole of the tank, turn on your pump and squeeze the trigger on the nozzle. It will mix quickly using that technique.

Thanks to all ended up at TSC got the silver big bottle says it treats 300 gals. Pineridge the tank is gravity flow so I'll dump it in and maybe stir it a bit it'll have plenty of time before I use it I called the Kubota Dealer today grapple still not in hopefully Monday. Its rainy here so its probably just as well or I'd have tractor tire prints everywhere.

Old car hobby.... I had a 1955 Cadillac Flower Car, but sold that after the Godfather movie used it. I wanted to buy a hearse, but the wife nixed that. This one comes from the North woods of Alaska and is going to be my flea market cruiser. I found a 1963 Cadillac hearse near by, but I will have a hard time surviving in the tree house if I buy it before the spring. I should have known better than to get married.
