STRANGE QUESTION? CANNED SPAM

I don't think I've ever eaten Spam- but after this thread I'm gonna give it a try. I've always found it fascinating that Hawaii eats so much- apparently due to it being available during WWII. They even make sushi out of it in Hawaii Spam Sushi

Have any of you tried the Tabasco flavored SPAM? I am not sure if they still make it or not. Pretty good though.

MY DAD was a Medic in the South paciffic and in the 1950"s was our boy scout leader, he used to take us camping all the time and SPAM was always one thing he brought plenty of, good for breakfast, good for lunch, did not have it for years but awhile back the lovely bride brought home a can and we fell in love with it all over again. WONDER WHY IN SOME CIRCLES IT HAS A BAD REP? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif BET it not any worse for you than a big MAC
