Wow! That wasn't just the bumper, it was the w hole rear clip. That is a expensive repair.

I have a tow strap in the truck, but, as someone else said, I let the other guy hook it up. As far as hitch hikers, I don't trust strangers a whole lot!

OMG what a nightmare!

Almost had something similar happen to me. I was driving down the road, and I noticed a lady was stuck in her own driveway. Turned around and backed my pick up truck down the driveway and said I would pull her out.

She looked quite embarrassed, and hooked up her end of the chain herself. (I think it was an ego thing.) Took her quite a while, however, and she was getting very frustrated laying on the snow trying to find a good place to hook onto. I don't know what she eventually found, but when I pulled her out, there was some damage to her plastic cheap bumper. Nothing serious, because she came out of the stuck place quite easily, but she was not too pleased about it. She didn't give me any grief, but I could tell she was kind of mad at herself.

Said that she was planning on buying a 4 x 4 pick up truck very soon! LOL

I left feeling pretty good about it, thinking that I was the catalyst for her getting a different vehicle that she should've had a long time ago.

Remember the strange material that was supposed to have been found at the site of the Roswell incident. As I remember it's been said to have been silver in color, Incredably light, not to have burned, and when it was folded to have unfolded itself and not to have shown creases. The Roswell UFO has been explained away as having been a crashed baloon, a secret government project, and several other things.
Quite often, I find a mylar baloon in the pasture, and think it's as close as I've seen to anything meeting the discription of that strange material. I don't think our government had mylar at the time of the Roswell incident or maybe they did and used it in secret projects.

While bush mowing I lost the #10 can that I kept over my muffler. Yesterday, in the same bushes I saw something shining and thought I'd found my can. It turned out to be yet another milar baloon, the one that prompted my post.

I've also found owl poop which is just digested mice carcasses.

BAck when I was 15 I found he 22 single shot rifle I had carefully propped against a tree while I retrieved a squirrel. Even knowing it had to be within 50 ft radius of the squirrel it took me 2 more trips back before I found it.

Well that is correct reporting as It was not proven in a courtroom that the body was actually dead! LOL
And that it was an actual human body. (needs an expert to say that)
