I ordered 6 of these. Two for the tractor, two for the Plow Truck, and two for the RTV 500.
Strobes N' More
They are bright and the Company ships pronto!
Beware of a Company "LED Outfitters" not a good consumer rating.
Enjoy their video and my pics. (Darn Reflectors have to light up Blahhh)

Also have a thread in the RTV section. Might get brave and do a yutube.

I will post video when I get them installed I got the 3 sets of 6 head leds and 2 sets of chrome amber lights figure they will look good on the tractor and trucks.

Powerstroke, let us know how these work for you. Hopefully you won't have any trouble with them, good price too. Why I mention "trouble" is I read somewhere products like these made in China were of poor quality. Of course now it seems like everything is made in China. I hope not for your sake, looking forward to the video, and thanks.

I have the rack made and mounted on the RTV 500 with the Strobes. Looks good in the low light conditions!

I will have to wait for the wife to use her computer Savy to post pics of both the L3400 and the RTV 500.

Later,

Jw5875, what did you use for a switch? Did you buy one from Strobes n More? If you don't mind can you explain how you wired the lights; red wire to battery?, black to ground?, what wire to switch?, white wire to ????, etc. I thank you in advance.

SRS
The lights have a wiring diagram on the boxes that they are shipped in. They have 21 different flash patterns that are programmed by touching the blue wire to ground for each pattern. I purchased a switch $$$$$$$ from a dealer who sells parts for Tractor trailers, this one fits in the dash of the Kubota after you remove the blank cover. For the rear work light, I used a regular rocker switch and made it fit into the blank cover.

RTV500
Wiring: I connected the hot wire into the triangular plug that is under the hood near the light switch, the white wire with marking on it is energized when you turn the key on.
So: From triangle connector, fuse link to switch, black wire from switch to red wire on light(s), ground black wire from light, connecting yellow wires together with all lights will synchronize the lights to flash together. White wire is for low power option.
You must program the light pattern first before you hook the yellow wires together, I caught this on tips watching the LED 6 video.

I ran my wires from the switch through the rubber grommet where the ROPS bar goes on the left front fender. Ran the wires along the ROPS and out the back.

I then ran the wires along the frame to the hinge of the bed, and back to the the fron of the bed and up the rack. This gives the wire room to flex when you lift the bed.

I got them in and they look just like the ones at a local dealer in town that builds bucket trucks uses but his are $65 per light. Both were made in CHINA but packaging and over all these look well built. I will try to get them on this weekend and see what they look like on the truck. I hooked them to just a battery and will say I am very impressed.

The Strobes N More site seems to be the real deal. I know where they are located and may go visit their company store in the next week when I'm in their area.
I may get either the E-4 or possibly the E-6 light strobe kits with switch and brackets and wire. First I need to measure for what space I have.
I want to mount them on the sides and back of my rops bar on the inside edge to protect from branches etc.

4shorts, that is the strobe we ordered for one of the cars at work, but in red and blue as it's an emergency vehicle. Very effective and good price.

Thanks for the info. I ordered the amber/amber. Five year warranty and a company with a good reputation. That's a Win win combination.

Well I got my strobe light from Strobes N More. Great quality and fantastic service. I know a few vendors that could learn from these guys. super fast shipping.

Anyway I mounted mine in the rear window. Modified the mounting system a little to make it work and it did. I also picked up some amber 4"strobes locally. They are made by Grote and fabricated a few aluminum brackets and mounted them on the side of the cab. They are quad flashing and very bight. Now I will be seen.

4shorts... very nice lights, they are made by Whelen (RSA03zcr) even though the say Grote, they are a VERY nice light, hopefully you hooked the sync wires up?? We use a lot of them in the emergency vehicles we build. Lately we have been installing the Vertex units, VERY small and VERY bright... Whelen Engineering - Lightheads - Lightheads, Directional Strobe, Super-LED, LED, Halogen & Combination ,these are worth looking at if space is limited.. Jim

Hi Jim. Great info. The only light that didn't say Grote was the light in the rear window and that one said Whelen. Didn't know about Grote being Whelen. The upper four inch strobes I didn't sync because there on the opposite side of the tractor and both couldn't be seen at the same time. If they had been seen together I would have synced the two. I'm assuming I'm correct in thinking that's right
Great looking web site there sir. I got to head over and give it another look. Thanks for your comments and wisdom ;). Paul

Paul,

Nice job on the new lights. I agree with you - if someone does ever run into you, they can't say it was because they couldn't see you!

You said you replaced all the OEM bulbs with LED's - does this include the front headlights? If so, where did you pick yours up from?

Thanks and again - great job!

Thanks Thomas. We had about a foot of snow last night so I got up a 5:30 AM and got at it. Takes about 2.5 hours to do it all but it was one of those still mornings with no wind and no traffic and I was really enjoying it. Had one guy pull over watching me, not sure what that was about
As for the head lights. No there not LED BUT I've been looking into that but they want your first born and my right ----, oh never mind they're expensive :(
At $400. a light I'm putting that off until the price drops

Sweet setup and really like all the lights. I am just glad we rarely need something like that around here(today is the one in 10yrs).
