Build some swamp mats, rock the machine onto the front idlers, put mats under and back out.
Mate, its a piece of cake to get that outta there. First; don't go making mountains out of mole hills. Second; get an excavator in (no smaller than a 12 tonner)with a chain/rope,hook it onto the bucket and pull. An excavator can cut it's own track in and use the same to take both machines to the top. Also an excavator can sit far enough away when pulling not to get stuck as well.
PS Remember K I S S (Keep It Simple Stupid) works every time
I'll second that.I have to ask, may be a stupid question, but why not make the nimrods that got it stuck pay to get it out?
I see a stuck 943 track loader. Where's the dozer
I'll second that.
I'll never know why people think an excavator is the do-all, end-all machine. I've seen dozers getting THEM unstuck a lot. If you have friends with dozers with winches on them your troubles are over.
(Smilies are broke.)
WE ONCE GOT A D-9 OUT BY CHAINING A TREE TO THE TRACKS AND THEN
VERY CAREFULLY WALKING IT OUT A FEW FEET AT A TIME.
THE WAY THIS SITTING, YOU MAY HAVE TO DIG A LITTLE TO GET THE TREE
CHAINED TO THE TRACKS.
ONLY OTHER WAY IS TO GET A REMOVAL MACHINE WITH A CABLE AND WINCH IT OUT, BUT MAKE SURE THE MAN IS WELL EXPERIENCED.
GOOD LUCK. AND LET ME KNOW HOW YOU MAKE OUT.
