It's not just cats, my IH dozer had the grease adjusted track tensioner too. Sometimes you needed to loosen the tracks and to do that you removed a 3/4 inch plug from the grease cylinder. All that track tension sure blew the plug out of the hole with a healthy pile of grease to deal with. Not sure I've ever seen a different method of track tightener.

I dinged a brass zerc on my steering linkage and just nicked the head enough so that grease squirts out past the zerc aned not in through it. I bought the zerc kit from HF but they are all course threaded. The Kioti's are fine threaded and I am having a tough time finding a replacement. Is there a special fine threaded metric zerc?

I am glad to hear I should not buy zerks from just anywhere. I presume Kioti dealers must have access to fine threaded metric zerks. They cannot be that expensive and I assume we could buy just the right sizes not a selection. I'll check with my dealer tomorrow (if I remember).

The one I buggered was the inboard pivot of the steering ram. They hang down low where a skid plate should be. I got the zerc off with a 10mm wrench and found a visually identical zerc at NAPA (SAE) but the bugger wouldn't thread in. Must be just a hair off. It pains me to not grease that joint.

Indeed, they seem to be somewhat non-typical though the zerks that you need on a different part may be standard since the loader is made by an aftermarket type supplier and not daedong themselves.

I wonder if one of the TBN active Kioti dealers might have an answer for us? Seems they must stock whatever zerk sizes are needed for the tractors and common attachments.

The cline adjustment is a pretty big cyl. We used to have a big 69 D6-9U and it had a grease cline adjustment. Took alot of grease.. but worked..

Spoke to my dealer today who confirmed the Kioti zerks are metric and he is going to send me a few. He did not have the size off the top of his head so he'll include that in the package and I'll pass it on.

FYI, the zerk fittings to lube the steering ram pivots of the CK30 are a special fine metric not available at NAPA or the JD dealer. They are available from a Kubota/Kioti place though. My joints are greasy again, delightful.
