Suggestion for Contents in On-tractor Toolbox

CTF, I forgot to ask... are the tool boxes bolted to the "flatbed" (for lack of a better name)?

JDgreen, nice, clean and shiny. Where are you putting on all these hours that it looks that good?

I have been retired (late 2002) since I purchased the Deere, it's always garaged when not in use. Mow 5 acres and push lots of snow for me and others in the winter. Retired guys have time to keep their toys clean and well maintained, which is good, as we don't have the money to replace them. Thanks for the compliment.

Both when I was full time employed, and afterwards when I became a self employed contract handyman, I was always said to be well prepared for a project, having my work or personal trucks ready with a huge assortment of tools, materials and hardware.

"Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it" was my motto.

Binoculars??? I don't need a GPS when you have 2.44 acres...

When you have 2.44 acres, walking back to get the tools you need would be more effective than carrying a comprehensive tool box. But I guess if your property is 10' wide that could be a couple miles. :confused3:

My lot is a thousand feet deep by 440 feet wide. I carry the binocs to spy on the good looking 30-ish babe next door when she is out sunbathing....one problem though...

Her husband....he's a big, mean cop
