I think that if z0lt3c had the tools to cut the extra off, he would not have asked for some guidance.

Do you have a sawzall? With a metal cutting blade it would take about 2 minutes. Then clean up the cut edge with a file or grinder.
Why not bite the extra off like I did with mine?
Of courth, now I thpeak with a whithle.
Machine shop charged me $40 to cut these down.
As it turns out, I'm not even sure I needed them cut as I found a different better arm position to use in the end. However, it does look pretty all trimmed off;
Yikes
It looks like they have indeed been chewed off! Anyone at the machine shop ........thpeak with a whithle????
For that price you could have had them chromed and polished here in Northern Michigan!!!!!
Looking at the top link mount, is that the heavy duty one? My dealer suggested the heavy duty upper link mount for a 3 point hitch backhoe. The one for the b7500 looks like an l- shape that bolts to the seat mount bolts and the pto cover bolts and the 4 bolts your upper link uses. Page 6 of this link (pdf) seems to indicate a heavy duty top link for the b7800.
