Sure fire way to keep it from snowing

Ended up with somewhere between 15-18" Used the snow blower on the first foot. wasn't home for that first part . When I got home around 11am started on my drive then neighbors 2 driveways ,in laws , church parking law, 3 more neighbors by that time redid my driveway at 330pm. Came in went to church program decided after program church lot needed done again. This time 8:30pm so do you get up at 430am or do it now. I choose now,put the blade on redid all the above plus 2 more drives no one had touched. The one is an old 2 lane highway and very wide berms, abandoned by State but still used by home owner, about 300' in length. Which I had the blower back on for that one. Finished up last evening 11:30.
Liked the blower did a nice job , Still like the front angle blade, May have used 1 gal more fuel using blower versus the blade.
Of course 1st time doing church lot which is the biggest, about 7 cars came for play practice ,about 5 min after I got started. I didn't know they planning on the practice. Real pain needed to blow snow across the highway but they they were coming so just kept blowing snow in front of me for about 7 parking spaces just so they had somewhere to park. Then I had to get rid of that snow .Blower did fine ,temp about 30 so it wasn't a light snow. But still could blow snow about 8-10 ft. . Pay for the day from one of the neighbors that butchers each yr. 2 packs of 2lb hamburg and 1 pack of steaks ,some of the others will give a gift cert. to a restaurant, box of candy and some money and the biggest one THANKS FOR DOING MY DRIVE and satisfaction of being a friend to my neighbors and helping out community.

JB, The problem could also in the geometry like mentioned in another thread about your plow. Since the rear of the A-frame is high the blade might be pushing the front up. I suspect this is what's happening-it's also very common on FEL mounted plows.

Yup I didn't bring that up here and haven't even updated my own thread after that first storm, because I'm trying to "wish that away"
Hoping it's not the problem as it's only a couple of inches out of level and would require a bit of work to correct.
Also my plow is 6.5ft looks like op's is a little shorter, heard in other threads that guys think 8 ft is not to big for their CUTS! I've had 8ft plows on 9,000lb 4x4 1 ton trucks and in heavy snow they would struggle.

I want to try it again with the chains which I've been running any way with the loader for needed traction, and now with skid steer I'll see.

Actually I'll know better very soon :) as I'm just going out now it stopped snowing here and it's about 8-10 inches max of light powder, which will pile up quickly but should not be heavy.

Hey Wayne good morning. I'm on the hill at 424 and Gov. Bridge. I'm drifted in so bad I just averaged it. Its upper thigh deep in spots and higher around the house!!! No windbreaks and my neighbors wide open field of a yard kinda puts it on us. Nice to hear from a fellow Davidsonvillian!!

YesDeere: Good to see a neighbor on here! I spend all day at Woodhaven II off Rossback Road plowing driveways. Great fun and more than paid for my fuel!

We live down off Bell Branch.

Great storm for Maryland, that is for sure!

Nice Pics. Glad you were able to have fun, and offset your fuel costs.

Keep warm. :)

HMMM... nah-- to much of a coincidence....

Well, I got my drive mostly done and the large paved driveway done-- and broke the scrape.... going to get it welded tomorrow..
