cresent wrench:
Thats what you use as a hammer or to round off the heads of bolts or nuts. Then you get to use the pipe tongs or pipe wrenches cause nothing else will grab. The steel pipe wrenches make good hammers too.

They can be either but I prefer the left hand models.

Speaking of tools - does anyone know if they still manufacture Chrome Muffler Bearing extractors?

I broke mine a couple of weeks ago and can't seem to find a replacement.

Hi ya
well i find if ya just get the metric one and carry a old bit of hacksaw blade to pack it ya can get 99% of english bolts witworth on the other hand ya to file 1/8 of a inch off the bottom jaw but be sure to mark the ground cresent cos ya find they round the heads on coach bolt's realy bad ...left and right hand wrenchs are handy but i find it's eazyer to carry the right hand one as ya norm tighting things if realy stuck ya could turn what ya working on upside down instead of rushing out to get a left hand one ....oh yea i think i have a prob i was watch my front wheels the other day and the one on the right (viewed from the side)was turning clockwise but the left hand side was going anti clockwise the guys in NZ don't know whats going on maybe one of ya will have some idea..
catch ya
