..teg, glad to see the Piedmont broom straw grass knocked down. Looks better and is not a fire hazard. Only downside to mowing that stuff is I have to blow out my radiators with air when I'm done, lots of dry stuff...
Hey Pete, the truth is I have to blow it out several times when I mow. I over heated my tractor twice... I don't plan to repeat that mistake a third time!

Understood ... I was backing into some brush a hidden object apparently hit the stump jumper and before I new it ... well it was up again the back of the tractor with a destroyed PTO shaft. Lets just say I won't do that agian.... Top link is always in place.

I use the same set up as teg except with a L3400. If you notice, with the quick hitch the RM CANNOT come up more that a foot or two, it will hit the QH at the point where the hook usually goes.

I look at mine without the toplink like a tow behind brush cutter... just can't imagine 3 to 500 (???) pounds getting kicked up like that. It's only grass...

I think you are talking about the green tractor photo... and RT is talking about the orange ones?

And I the orange... Is there really such a beast as a green tractor?
 :)

Or is a green one what happens when an orange tractor gets sick?

:p
