after reading about all the get togethers that are going on and are planned(unoffiacally, not tbn sanctioned) i was thinking(which is always a bad thing) what would u folks think about a tbn shirt, mabey a t shirt with the TBN LOGO on the back and on the front YOUR TBN NAME. THIS WAY WHEN YOU GET TOGETHER U WILL KNOW EACH OTHER BY THE NAME. if u don't think it is a good idea let me know , but i am sure some folks will like it. WHAT DO U THINK MUHAMMAD? would kind of go along with the hats. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
POSSIBLE OR NOT? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Only if we can get them in XXXXXX large for lamarbur with Kevlar reinforced arm pit material. If we go the hat route, then we will need something extremely large for his swelled head .... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Yup, I like the idea of shirts, since I don't wear hats. I also don't wear T shirts "per say". I prefer the look of a Henley style shirt. I like the dressier feel and apearence of them.
They tend to be a little more expensive but I would be willing to pay it.
I am not sure that I would want my name on mine. Just the nice TBN logo etc in a tasteful size.
Shirts !! Good idea !! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey man!
I'm not six X anymore. I'm down to a snappy 2.5 X. I only weigh a light duty 268 and I don't think that's bad for someone who is five feet, thirteen inches tall. do you? I measured the circumferance of my head at the widest part and come up with 21 inches. A (FULL) three inches smaller than yours, heh, heh..

I'd rather have a little nicer shirt, too. Something like the henley or a nice golf shirt with a discreet logo on one side in front would be nice. Junkman was teasing about a 6XL size above but I actually wear a 4XLXT (XXXL, Extra Tall). Remember me when you're ordering. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

John Madden said it best in the title to his book 'One Size Does NOT Fit All' /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I remember some ones profile that had a link to his business. He makes "logo" shirts and sells them through the INTERNET and his wife is involved in the business venture. Don't remember who it is right now, but I will look... If you are him..... please post or send me a PM or e Mail.. thanks. Junkman the rag buyer (trade term) from CT.....

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'm not sure what a Henley is. And I wear a pocket T darn near every day of the year no matter what the weather.

I wonder if there was a way where TBN and it's members could agree upon a licensing agreement where the logo artwork could be purchased.

That would allow those who want to display their interest in tractors in non tractor environments, playing dress up, could. And those who think it would be kewel to have their internet and tractor interest displayed in their work world could also.

Ok, ok, I'll get this done soon---hopefully this month. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Look for a thread in the feedback forum asking for opinions on designs and colors.

Duh!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

( designs and colors.)

We are in the land of extreme bigotry and prejudice based solely upon color! There is the orange, don't forget the green, and gawd help us, blue. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

But the best color of all is JCB yellow!!!!!

Don't forget Farmall Red /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Red Red, We want Red! Sounds like a Hagar song or sumthin /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think we can consider red a viable tractor color. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

In fact I'd guess there are about as many shades of red in tractorland as there are shades of yellow. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Harv,
Heres a link that will show you what a Henley style shirt looks like.
Henley Shirts
It is basically a quality T shirt with 3 button neck.

Robert:

Sammy is going to roll over and puke!!!

I got to get my 2 cents in.

Any color will do, just not cotton white. The iron in our well water changes white to orange. Come to think of it, maybe that's why I have a Kubota??

Do you guys know what it's like to have orange/pink BVD's?? It's better now we have had our well fracked. Before, it was like ketchup in the pipes.

Thanks Mark. I understand why I didn't know what they were.

You see I have the beard to hide the fact that hair on my chest comes over the collar of my T shirt. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Just as an aside, you're probably a fan of Tall Paul's Tall Mall. We got some long bunk beds from him that have worked out well.

My wife dyes t-shirts in our fine ready acidic clay for special designs she comes up with. It's amazing how many times they can wash, and still hold the dirt color!

We have a softener for the house, and a RO on top of that for drinking.
