Tee shirt, long sleeve or sweat shirt (depending upon temperature) and Carhart Bib Overalls. The Carharts are pretty thick so if you run into bramble, they're quite resistant to stickers and such.
Head gear (depending upon the season) is normally some kind of ball cap. During hot weather, I wear a bandana on my head with the ball cap over it. The bandana absorbs sweat quite well.
High top steel toe or Chukka Boots.
Ear plugs always, sometimes gloves.
.38 in the pocket...

Now that's a well dressed redneck...

For me I usually throw on some camouflage pants I got from the surplus store. They seem to hold up well, have significant reinforcements in key places, are very comfortable, have plenty of pockets to store junk in, and the best part since they're camouflage it's nearly impossible to tell when they're not the cleanest (lol). That gets topped off with a T shirt, a boonie hat to keep my head and neck from burning, and a swiss army knife. Winter time I throw on a coat, and maybe some insulated coveralls depending on how cold it is versus how long I'm anticipating being outside. In winter, the boonie hat stays on the hat rack in favor of a knit type cap.

Pretty much the same thing every day, in one shade of staine or another.

Walmart $20 boots.
Walmart $8 shorts.
T-Shirt that's ten to 20 years old.

Red shirt, pocket tee and Rustler jeans along with High Test boots with the metatarsal protection. If it's cold outside, a thermal undershirt.

My shirts reflect my work and my attitude, holy but not righteous.

OK...now this is my kinda thread... for me, it's a pair of wrangler jeans with my belt and pliers attached, either wolverine or ariat lace up ropers. The shirt/jacket depends on the weather... something similar to Eddie if I can... Always a baseball cap and Oakley MFrames or other protective eyewear. Ear Plugs if I am running my Stihl or my logsplitter.

Maybe kinda related....

But if the temperature outside is much above -40 it doesn't take me long to get a sweat worked up. A little activity or a barely warm day and I'm soaking wet in 30 minutes. It seems to start on my head and work down. My hair will be soaked and the neck of my shirt wet while everyone else is just gettin' warmed up. To top it all off I'm cursed with having to wear prescription glasses so I waste a lot of time cussin' sweat and wipin' glasses.

I've done his since I was a kid. It's a family curse and I know you all didn't really need to hear all this....

But

Have any of you guys found a way to dress or a type of headgear in particular that's good for keeping sweat from interfering with what you're trying to do?

The old Willie Nelson bandanna method just don't seem to work for me.:D

I can soak a bandanna in just a little while.

Edit to add: Air conditioned cabs are out of the question!

Man, I am the same way. I haven't spent any significant time in sub zero weather but if its in the 20's and I'm working hard on something, I'll be down to a t-shirt in minutes. In the summers here, as you know, mid 90's are common and humidity is high. My cloths get soaked with sweat. My pants start to droop and my socks and shoes get wet with sweat. A real pain in the rear. But at the same time, it doesn't keep me from working in warm weather. As long as I can replenish with plenty of fluids, I can owrk longer in hot weather than a lot of other folks.

It's a real pain when it comes to hunting in the cold. If I have to walk far (and I do walk, I don't care for ATVs and 4 wheelers for hunting) I'll get hot and sweaty and then have to sit still for hours in the cold with the sweat making me even colder.

Yep,

When most everyone else has gone to the shade, I'm still out there sloshing around as long as there's some water to drink.

As for me I don't know if that's because I process sweat better and stay cooler or I'm just to dumb to know it's time to take a break.:D

I carry towels and extra shirts around just in case I need to "be decent" when I stop at the store for a pack of crackers and a sody.

I could deal with it a lot better if I could just keep my eyes clear.
