TBN's Warriors....so how do you dress for battle

Have any of you guys found a way to dress or a type of headgear in particular that's good for keeping sweat from interfering with what you're trying to do?

The old Willie Nelson bandanna method just don't seem to work for me.

I can soak a bandanna in just a little while.

I have the same problem and wear contacts which helps exaggerate the problem. Being a contractor in the South we have plenty of hot and humidly to deal with. Try the terry cloth head bands sold for tennis player. I buy them by the dozen at Wally World for a couple of bucks each. Once they are soaked you wring them out and they are still effective.

My entire wardrobe is built around BIB OVERALLS. They should be proclaimed the OFFICIAL TRACTOR RIDING UNIFORM. I've got about 4 or 5 pairs that look like they've been around the block a few times. Those are my workers. For "social events" like when the kids come over for dinner, I break out a better pair. And as a true redneck, I keep a new pair in reserve, hanging in the closet just in case I need to be properly buried! 99 times out of a 100, you'll find me wearing a Carhardt "pocket tee" under the bibs. Long johns in cold weather, Timberland boots, and usually a hat courtesy of DeKalb Seed Corn. (I sold DeKalb for years) When the snow flies, I break out the Carhardt insulated bibs and their "stockmans jacket" (long waisted). For weather between 40 and 60 degrees, look for a hooded sweat shirt.

This dang job of mine..... I hang out in the office most of the time any more. Proper attire is suggested. (Shirt with collar, no jeans, no muddy boots.... )

Oh yeah,........boxers too. (Try to wash that image out of your mind!)

- cargo pants too shaby for the office
- AOL T shirt for summer, it is white and I have truckload of them (did I mentioned I work for AOL and they used to give away t shirts all the time?)
- military desert boots all year long
- carhart artic coat for winter, kakadu oilskin for rainy days

Like I said,the same as yesterday,,thats all I wear,overalls,work or sitting around drinking beer,,,quit wearing pants about 12 years ago.
My grandpa was the same,except he had his new ones that he wore to town and such,and his old ones he worked in,,same with shoes,shirts and hats,,much simpler that way,,when you find something that works why do anything differently,,,,why do men still wear ties to their jobs for? ties and suits has gotta be one of the dummest things alotta men ever do,,,[well],,,and neck ties has gotta be THE dummest piece of clothing they sell,,whats the purpose of it? thingy

Man, I am the same way.....But at the same time, it doesn't keep me from working in warm weather. As long as I can replenish with plenty of fluids, I can work longer in hot weather than a lot of other folks.

Same here: I sweat like a two-dollar ***** on "nickle night".

Like it or not, thingy...that's still the uniform of the day for a lot of us. We must look "professional".
Anyway, once you get used to wearing a tie, it's not too bad.

Now, as far as tractors...today was a beautiful day in PA...it's time for NUDE TRACTOR DRIVING!
