TC30 - While Replacing Broken Bell Housing...........

While I have the tractor broken in half to replace the broken bell housing, should I have the hydraulic pump checked/rebuilt. If yes, who does that? It sure is a lot of work getting this far, and I'd hate to discover a problem with the HST pump after getting it all back together.
The tractor was not running when I acquired it, but the broken bell housing was the only known problem!
Opinions, anyone?

How many hours? For the most part the procedures are just to move from one housing to another.
