I don't think it did. But we'll see what happens tonight. Supposed to be up to -45ー with the wind! As soon as it warms up a bit I'm cutting the ROP and converting it to foldable. That way I can get her into the heated garage or basement!! Poor girl shouldn't be outside in that.

Don't give up on the battery until you have cleaned the battery terminals and the battery ground to frame connection. The battery cannot take a charge well if the terminals are corroded.

My current battery is from the NAPA store in Madison. It's 6 years old and doing fine. Probably shouldn't have said that. I needed a battery and that was the easiest place to get one in a hurry.

Wow, you're one town over! :drink: I'm always surprised how much stuff they have in that little NAPA store. It's saved me a few times since they're open on Sunday and Motor Supply is closed. I'll pick up some distilled water today and make sure it's full. I left it on a trickle charge overnight. -12 right now so this should be a good test of the battery!

As far as batteries go, I can get a Wal-Mart automotive battery with 5 years warranty for less than a commercial Tractor Supply battery with a 1 year warranty...
I bought a Tractor Supply commercial battery several years ago and kept the trickle charger on it in the winter months and got 1-1/2 years out of it...
Paid right at $100...
Replaced it with an automotive battery for around $70 with 5 year warranty...
3 years and still going strong...

That's what I was thinking to. I usually put the Wal-Mart batteries in our vehicles and they work fine. If I need to replace the battery I'll probably go that route.

I think the battery is toast. I topped it off with water and put the charger to it. After reading 100% on the charger I initiated the glow plugs and then tried to turn it over. Nothing. Put the charger back on it it read 70% with 13.9 volts going into the battery from the charger. So using the glow plugs dropped the voltage so much that it can't even turn over. Guess I'm headed to Wally World this weekend! I did just order the block heater kit for it as well. That should help tremendously.

Ya, I was surprised to see someone from Anson. :drink: There is a handful of guys here from Western Maine.

When I get tired of the big city in Farmington , I turn left toward Anson from my driveway. I'm about in the middle.

I think it is a 24F battery 650 CCA I just put a sears diehard in mine. A sealed battery calls for more CCA than a non sealed battery. The useless New Holland parts site can give you battery specs. Interstate also has some specs I think- Ford/Newholland. The cables are not long- just be sure on what ever battery you get that the left post (facing forward) is the positive and that the posts are set back toward the rear of the battery.
I just replaced my original battery. --- The block heater makes all of the difference- easy starts!
