could it be bad thermastat? i had a bad t- stat in winter and temp stayed down

The engine is coming up to temperature. This is an electrical failure in the instrument cluster.

I had the same problem with the temp guage on my NH TC33D. I checked it by grounding the wire on the sending unit. By the way the sending unit is on the side of the cylinder head. It didn't work and a dealer replaced the guage it lasted about two months. Again, it went out. Another, dealer came by and checked it and they had to replace the entire instrument cluster. It had drawn moisture and evidently blown something a diode, capacitor, or something. SO they replaced the whole cluster and so far have had no more troubles.

I have seen you with your TC40DA SS. I am sure you leave the heat on a little longer just for yor baby /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My panel seems to fog whenever I wash the tractor off. The first time, the flasher indicators came on and flashed even though the switch was in the off position. I haven't put a whole lot of water on the dash since.
