Dear brily farms and ruffdog:
You will notice the Service Bulletin does NOT mention model TC33D as being involved in the application. The oil fill dilemma began as a result of emissions system "improvements" begun on the DA models around 2005.
I'm sorry the bulletin does mention the CIH models involved in the issue.
This fill issue was resolved around 2008 with the oil fill plug being placed lower on the engine block.

I just pour regular on a TC29DA. Use a narrow funnel. No prob in 20 years of annual oil change.

Just did the oil change on my tc40 yesterday..and it didnt blow up. I just used a small funnel and greased the unit while I filled it.
