I like having the different key as well less chance anyone sneaking off with my tractor if I'm not around.

Everything is fine so far with NAPA switch replacement. By now I would probably be thinking about ordering one of the NH ones for replacement. Hope it works out for you also.

Wow! Is it possible you are treating the symptoms rather than the problem? Something could be overloading that switch and causing it to fail from heat. Three switches would sure make me suspicious.

Mine started acting up today (about fifteen minutes before finishing my job...go figure.) Engine shut off for no apparent reason. Turned the key and it started back up. Each time it stayed running for a shorter time. Then turning the key I got a click then no click. Faint electrical smell. Called the dealer and the service tech immediately brought up the switch and also said to check the wiring at the connection to the switch. He said that a few have caught fire at that location.
I made it to the dealership before closing to get a new switch, so we'll see how it goes in the morning.

There's a good reason they keep them in stock! After what I went through with those switches I wouldn't waste my time or money ($80+)replacing it. I'd change it to a regular Ignition switch. The NAPA one ($23)I installed is still working fine over a year later, at the rate I was replacing the NH ones I would have put two more of the NH plastic ones in by now.

I know that tractorhelp.com has replacement switches for those tractors as I've had to put a few in my DX33. It seems that putting the relay in much like in the sticky thread would be the ticket here also.
