Rotary Cutter Tebben 40"

I had asked a couple of weeks ago if anyone knew about Tebben rotary cutters. There is one available that I found for sale. It is a 40". 42" is recommended for my Kubota BX23 although 48" will work. Do you think a 40" would be ok size wise. It will be a little narrower than the width of the tires. I assume it will fit. I just bought the tractor so I'm new to all the 3 point hitch stuff. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I have 5 acres and just trying to cut down brushy areas and maintain what is not lawn. I will have to cut down some of the larger stuff first.

Personally, I'd never even heard of Tebben Rotary Cutters but see they have a website. A 40" one should serve you well unless you need to get close to buildings, fences, and such. I always preferred a rotary cutter a few inches wider than the outside of my rear tires for that reason.

That would not be a problem. Getting close to trees would be the only problem but no big deal.

The one I saw advertised is $300. It is used. New is out of my range right now
