Telephone poles

   / Telephone poles #11
I was lookin' to build a pole barn, and bein' a retired utility worker, the first place I looked was the pole yard. They didn't git many the foreman said. I stopped at the site where a crew was reconfigurin't the line for road widin'. The pusher said the poles belonged to the folks who owned the land they were on, after all they paid for 'em. I can see the point, there are 5 poles from the road to my house, and as far as I'm concerned they are MINE! ;-D

Here are some of them:

We put the metal on the other side of the roof yesterday - just needs the ridge cap.
