Telescoping draft links

The draft links are listed in the John Deere Configurator in the section Accessories, Attachments for field conversion.

I think that part of the confusion is that dealers are relying on the I-match system for quick hitching, and that eliminates the real need for telescoping draft links. I asked the same thing, and when I realized that most of my attachments were I-match, I figured I really didn't need the telescoping draft links. This is especially the case with Frontier (JD's line) of attachments.

Mike & "Chevy" are right...my dealer showed me that they are listed in the parts section of the JD sales manual for CUTs, rather than the "options" section, and as "Cowboy Doc" says, they can be ordered with those part numbers. ($240 list for 4710.) The "5200" series have them listed as options for each model rather than "parts". As a side comment, I just put them on, and what a difference!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

He is wrong. My dealer recommended them, fortunately. They are great.

Rocky Ridge,

You were exactly right they are listed in the parts section. When I ordered the tractor this morning, he told me the minute I walked in the door he was wrong the other day and said they would be no problem. I ordered them on the new tractor and he let me have them for $157 installed. He commented that I seem to be awfully informed and I told him I had hundreds of advisors.

Thanks to all

Jason

That's great! Great to have another 4310er! Yours is the first 2WD I. know of! It'll be great to hear your input after you get it!

I only mow my yard, bushhog my pasture, and cut in a few food plots once a year at my deer camp. I know 4WD would be nice but I just couldn't justify the extra cost. My last tractor was 2WD and I never stuck it. You just have to use common sense sometimes. If I had been interested in a loader, I would definately have bought 4WD. I'm just proud to have an oper platform and power steering. My 6 year old son this morning finished making up my mind. I asked him Kubota or JD, he looked at me like I was stupid and said John Deere like he couldn't believe I had even asked.

Rocky:

I doubt it my son thinks that he is alot bigger than what he is. He asked me for a motorcycle and a deer rifle. They all grow up to fast!
