so there are two different bushing kits from JD for the imatch? i am confused. my dealer is going to be ordering my imatch tomorrow and i need to make sure i am ordering the best bushings. i am going to be using a frontier bb and eventually a brush hog as well as other stuff down the road.

Re: tell me about \"I-match\"

Mounting should be straight forward-just like any implement- attatch the drawbars and the toplink and your set to go. You can buy inexpensive bushings from a TSC or other farm supply that will increase the size of your draw pins from cat 1 to cat 2 to cat 3 to fit the quickhitch hooks (not the quickhitch specific bushings). I went to my local ranch supply and picked up some for each implement and cotter pins to keep them in place for a couple of bucks. They are not as fancy as the JD bushings- but can be easily removed if you lend your implement to someone without a quickhitch.

Re: tell me about \"I-match\"

Jeep; Thanks for the photos. That helped a bunch! I'll have to visit with my dealer and see how steep the bushing's are gonna be if I try to stay with the OEM.
I'll try to track down another source of bushing's as well. There's less options (no TSC's) up here in Alaska; and shipping is gettin' to be more than the cost of the parts--- /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
But maybe I can come up with a workable option thru my local machine shop.
Thanks again for the info.

Re: tell me about \"I-match\"

jmt; You should get a set of bushing's with your iMatch from the dealer to mount it on your tractor's 3pt. But you'll need bushing's for the attachments --- backblade, boxblade, rototiller, etc. --- that you will be hooking up to the iMatch.
Make sense...?
The pics show bushing's that are used on the individual attachments; i.e. BB, etc. The 3pt iMatch attachment bushing's are different. So, yes there are 2 different types of bushing's. But, you'll only need one set to hook the iMatch to your tractor.
And for every attachment that you have that attaches to the iMatch, you'll need a set of bushings shown in the photos.
