Jesse, I have no advice, just congratulations. There is something very satisfying about a well-planned retirement. Others may not know, but you are in the part of Texas that's probably close to Heaven on Earth. You'll have time now to fully enjoy every season and every fresh cool early morning summer breeze. :thumbsup:

I used to force myself to get up by 0615 so I could get to work by 0630. Now I find my self waking up often at 0500 to start "piddling around".

Hey Jess:
Retired in August of this year after 25 years of self employment trimming houses and doing remodeling.
As that old alka-selsar ad once said 'oh what a relief is is'. Good spose retired about a month later so it's for beter or worse and home for lunch too.

Officially retired now! I went to work today to attend my retirement party and say goodbyes. Had a huge red velvet cake, pizza and ice cream. Crew bought me a really nice Case John Deere lockback knife. I'll miss the people but I'm very glad it's over. I bought 50# of fence staples this morning so now it's time to build fence.
