BigPete; Happy NewYear to you and you family. And may you all have a very prosperous New Year! Thanks for your Tips. I have less than an acre to mow, but I have other tasks that I need the 4100 for (boulders, muck moving/lifiting/dunping, quick grass cuts). Your inputs are right on with what everyone is saying and it does look like a MMM/Belly mower is what I will be going with - I am saving my pennes up for it now. It looks like a 54" is what i am going with as the 60" evidently has the repurtation for scuffing if you are not careful on slopes.

I've noticed the bounce with my 4100 HST which I've had for just two months. I figured it was the nature of a smaller compact tractor. I came from a 1944 Ford 2N with loaded tires and wheel weights. It didn't bounce! I'll check the tire pressure tomorrow, and may consider loading the rear R-4 tires with RV anti-freeze. The traction is great in FWD but leaves a lot to be desired when disengaged even with an empty FEL.
Like TerryinMD, my spare cinch pins are mounted in small welded loops on the left (not adjustable) 3PH link. I did get a rubber cord with my tractor but it doesn't have the handy pockets.
I'm not attaching any photos of my 4100 because it is a mess. The day before the ground froze I was digging a diversion ditch in very wet, soft ground. I buried it once (that day) and had to "walk" it out with the FEL. It was just below freezing and I couldn't wash it up. Maybe during the January thaw! Happy New Year!

You replied so quickly I just had to go check the tire pressure. The rears are 14 and fronts are 26. It looks to me as though my dealer did OK there.
I got thinking... I have considered trailering my 4100 and the additional weight of loaded tires could require a considerably heavier - and more expensive - trailer. I did get the optional weight box, so maybe I ought to fill that with something and try that for a while. I also have a fairly heavy back blade which does help, and that is usually on during the winter. We'll have to see what happens before I get too hasty about loading tires.
