For me, two overwhelmingly strong points. Absolutely perfect physical size: wheelbase, width, tire size, bucket width, and lift height. Unbelievably fast loader cycle times for a machine of this size.

I just wish there were more things I like about it.

It's apparent by your post that you will be using the FEL quite a lot. If the tractor meets your requirements and needs, why don't you make an offer and seal the deal? Good Luck in regards to whatever make and model you choose.:tractor:

since you like the tractor so well, you might as well buy it.

I thought you just got a new 1026R? What happened?

My local Kubota dealer doesn't stock the B2320 -- he thinks it's a bastard model, and steers people into the B2620 or B2920 instead. I ended up with the 2920. Never even got a chance to try a 2320 to judge it for myself. It is slightly smaller, and that could be a plus for many people.

I did just get a new 1026R. After talking with two different dealers yesterday, neither of them want it on trade. So, I'll have to wait until spring to try to sell mine privately, or try to trade it again. The weather here has been miserable all month long. I honestly have about a 100 to 1 ratio of tractor by net hours to 1026R hours recently. With the rain and mud outside, all I want to do is shop, I just can't stop thinking about these little tractors and attachments.

Well, unless the 1026R somehow isn't meeting your needs anymore (sounds like weather is the real issue) I would sit tight with that model. It's not that far off from the Kubota 2320-2920 models, and you'd lose money trading out at this point. The 1026R still has some better features, like position control on the 3-pt, a better seat, and better lighting.

If you do move into a Kubota B-series, look at the B2620, B2920, or step up to the bigger B3200. Those would be the most compelling models to change over to from the 1026R. I happened to like the B2920 since it maximized the power I could get in that chassis size, which was perfect for my needs (B3200 too big, B2320 too small).

I did shop the Deere 1026, 2320, and 2520, but just felt the Kubota was a better combination of features, price, and construction quality. But they are all good tractors that would have met my needs more or less.

Agree, but I have not seen in B23** at the local dealers here either.

Maybe they sell faster too

If I had to do it over, the FEL that they put on the stock 2620 and 2920 is one size bigger......the cyls are one size larger for a heavier rating, but it fits the 2320 tractor (hyd pump is the same)...I wish the dealer would have told me this, I had to learn it on TBN......:confused2:

What happened? That is an expensive mistake to trade in a several month old tractor.
