One of my sons cut one of the hay fields so he and some of his friends can work on their golf game,, driven range,, had a lot of green clover under it,, I should have cut it the first of Nov.. but didn't for some unknown reason.. But anyway I was looking at it,, look to be pretty good grass,, think I will bale it today.. if nothing else will dump it in the back pasture for the cows.. I wonder what my neighbors will be thinking when they see me baling in Jan.. The old basssster lost his mine.. Lou

Dennis,
Good luck to your mom.
Is she on blood thinners?

Ron, we thought she was, but apparently the local cardiologist here just recommended 81mg asprin:confused3: Gave her other meds, but they don't address the thinning. I spoke to mom 20 minutes ago and the lab work there shows her blood waaay to thick, so they have her on injection thinners (in the stomach ouch!) pending the receipt of the test results from last week. She feels she was "herded" through since she is on medicare/medicaid (in Decatur here). She will get good care at this Hospital, it is the one she got her nursing degree, so the staff is making a "big" deal out of it:laughing:

I was on the same track Ron. Has she started any new meds Dennis?

She did start new meds last Wednesday, but I don't remember what they where. My wife knows them very well, but she is at work. I know after my conversation this AM there wasn't a thinner prescribed and she said this was the 1st "thickness test". Kind off P me O, since they didn't seem to concerned (the cardiologist last week), and now she is miles away. At least she will get thorough care where she is .

So, you've been sneaking around my storage building and taking pictures of all my hoses?

I hope el nino doesn't turn into "el none, yo!" If it does, I'll need all those hoses.

Jim, them hose's probably are visible from the Hubble ! :D I have no doubt you're on the NSA hose buyback program, you just don't know it yet:laughing: Sadly, I will be joining the same club come Spring, where do I get my "card":)

Next year's renewal is only $50. :D As a member, you'll get six 8"x10" glossy photos showing how to hold your nozzle for best watering. You'll also get step-by-step instructions on how to layout soaker hoses and attach them to brass 4-way manifolds for best distribution. Members who join in the next two days will receive special instructions on hose end repair and splicing.

Dennis my wife,, Betty,, they have her on 9 prescriptions right now.. but the aspirin is 325 mg per day,, plus another blood thinner,, Hopefully on 5th of Feb. she will be taken off some of the stuff,, mainly the Zoll life vest defibrillator,, she has to wear it all the time,, less bathing,, it monitors her heart beat,, plus send all this information to some doctor in where every.. it will call 911 in case it is needed and give a location where she at for the EMT.. So I can feel your uncertainty of what's next.. sounds like you have a large family just like we do.. So lean on each other till things are better,, but keep us informed when you can,, and good luck.. Lou

True story,, As I had mention earlier I decided to bale a few round bales from an over grown dead field,, sure enough one of my neighbor came over while I was baling,, Larry,, His words.. What do you think you are doing?.. My words.. And we all thought you were the smart one.. He shook his head walked over to the truck got a beer and waited till I got thru.. Then I had to explain the new driving range.. They shut down the local driving range so they could build some sort of Mall with parking.. Dank what next,, new homes and apartments? Lou

Lots of different blood thinners.
Coumadin/warfarin are common and can be measured for getting too much or not enough.
Heparin is substituted before surgery because its effect can be reversed very quickly.

Plavix, which my mother took, along with a 325 MG coated aspirin can not be measured but works good.
After 3-4 years her skin could be bruised with little pressure though.

They all have good points and bad.

Brandi, hope you feel better soon, stomach issues are sure a PITA. Could be worse I suppose, read an article that a woman was killed in Willis! Was trying to pull a tree with a traactor and it flipped over and killed her! Willis woman dies in fatal tractor accident - Your Houston News: News
Thanks Y'all. Stomach still churning. Bilnoski Road is not far from me. Only way I pull a tree is with the hi lift bumper jack and chains after some BH digging around the roots. This way is really slow motion when the tree starts going down.
hugs, Brandi

Me, I fill the FEL, put it in FWD and hook the chain down low on the drawbar.

With good physics, it is very difficult to flip a tractor.

If downward force behind rear axel exceeds downward force in front of rear axel, guess what happens? It's physics.

This is case where rear tire loading has zero effect. You need to offset rear 3 point weight with sufficient front weight like ballast in FEL or actual front weights.

Lots of different blood thinners.

Ron Coumadin was what she was on when she lost her leg.. it causes blood clogs,, and did.. reason she has one leg.. She is on Plavix and 325 mg aspirin now.. hopefully everything will work out for a few more years.. She's the one that works out every day at the gym,, till this,, but she will be back,, she a fighter,, watched her diet,, lots of veg's, little salt and no sugars, very little red meat and no alcohol unless we were in vegas.. I am just now aloud to say what I think,, they broke her ribs with the CPR and when I made her laugh it hurt but the ribs are better and she laughing now.. So we will go from there.. thanks for the info,, Lou

Pulling a big load is also not same as a straight lift with your 3-point.
