Got 1-1/2" of accumulation on my deck and rails. The grass is really splotchy and driveway and roads are all clear, especially with a bit of rain here pre-dawn. It's been 32F here since 6:30 AM.

WOW ... 1.5 inches. Have you started digging out yet? At 1 a.m. I looked out and it was anout 1 inch ... then I heard it raining at about 4 a.m. so at 6 when I got up it looked like about 1/2" left.

Ditto for us, except the accumulation. we had about 1/2", then the rain started, so most of it is gone , some spotty places on the leaves and lawn. Nice to dodge something worse.

Some of you did real good on rain this time around! We supposedly got in the 1/2" range, but at my place it was lest than 1/4". The ground here is good and saturated ,,(for a change)

The weatherman said we only got 1/2", but I swear my decks and railings had much more. I suppose some of that was drifted, but it's all gone now and just a bad/good memory, depending on how you look at it. This morning it's 42.5F and just a tiny bit of fog. It feels more like a fall day than one in the middle of February.

My wife said she saw some snow just before she went to bed night before last, but I was already in bed and didn't see it. I figure my rain gauge got a total of about .28" of precipitation yesterday.

Yesterday we got another 1 & 1/2 inches of rain dumped on us. I-45 just north of Willis was closed for high water in a construction area and flash floods ripped through downtown Huntsville. Forecast for next 24 hours says it will hit the same areas hard again. The forecaster used the term "the rain train", where the different rains keep hitting the same area repeatedly.

Brandi, you need to buy a lotto ticket while the luck is good:laughing:

We have got maybe 1/4" so far today, but I can see much of central to south Texas is getting much needed moisture.

Our weatherman said last night that we are (so far) at 8th place for wettest winter in N Texas. which is strange coming out of the driest year in Texas history. They report an estimated tree death state wide at around 5 - 5.6 million!!
