Don't have a clue how much I got, but it went to "run-off' almost immediately.

I bet that made an impact on the lake! At least if your ground is as saturated as ours is here West of the metro-mess.

I would like to get outside today, but the mud is so bad, i would probably make a mess.

It's up another six inches, but still down quite a bit. I need to work on my drainage, I have a huge area that has all sorts of run off, but it's not making it to my lake. I need to pile some dirt in two areas and dig a ditch in three areas. Then I can gain about 20 more acres of run off!!!!

Man talk about saturated ground. I swear I drove a t post in with one hit last weekend. I bet I could've used a framing hammer and achieved the same result.
All of our ponds are good, even the one that went dry last summer. I haven't been by the lake but I hear it is still low.

My brother is in Mabank and he said the same thing. Everything is flooded and his spillway has been flowing all day. Seems like you guys over there get all the rain, and the rest of us get what's left!!! LOL

I keep saying we will take all we can get. This year we pray for hay.

I'm still thankfull for the rain.... but.... being a guy with a full time job, weekends are my opportunity to get the garden plot ready and planted. So far the timing of the rains has prevented my progress in the garden. What I lost to last years drought may be lost this year to not being able to even plant. We still have ponds which are low and yet to refill with the recent rains, but at least they are filling. Temps are beautiful! Ground is soaked.
