I'll bet she's right, too. Of course, that's not to say when the hurricane will occur; this year or 15 years from now.:laughing:

It was 109 when we got home from town the cats and dog were laid out on the front porch.

We let them in and they immediately took advantage of the cool tile. Ahhhhh.

It was only 106 here yesterday and got all the way down to 83 this morning. Sure was some pretty clouds for awhile,.

With the cloud cover and cool breeze, I thought we'd likely not make 100 today. Now it's clear and the sun's out. It's 96.5 at 1 pm and it will easily make 100.

Whooooeeee! Thunder, lightning, and even about .17" of rain this morning between 6:40 and 7:40 a.m. and temperature all the way down to 78. Of course the forecast is 104 today. I got no rain at all in July and now that makes about .64" for August.
