Ron,
I will give Wally's online photo ordering a try. As it is now, my camera and printer is a Kodak, which uses the 4x6 Kodak photo paper with it's own little tray. Kodak says it costs 10 cents a photo to print. That and the convinence is hard to beat. I know the photos fade when left out in sunlight or lights. I had a photo of Luke in dress whites and his ship on my tool box for a few years and they faded out. But the photos I store are still bright after around 8 years. The printer is a fax/scanner/printer and it has broken twice. The first time I got a new one shipped free and the second time I got a refurbished one for free. They have shipped me 3 or 4 printer heads over the years for free also.
hugs, Brandi

They should, and sometimes do, give away the printers with a computer deal. It's the ink they make the big profit on.
Kodak has gone the way of Texas International. Too bad, it was an American tradition. They did in fact supply the sensors for a lot of
other brand digital cameras as well as a lot of commercial related photo equipment.

You should fix flash "red eye" problems before uploading, but they do have software on site you can use to fix it and other problems if you wish.

Foreman, hope your surgery went well.

Since we are all good friends, I'll let y'all in on to a deal on a computer. You have to kind of know what you want, and be patient, but at DELL AUCTION > Used Dell Laptops`Refurbished Dell Laptops`Used Notebooks`Dell`Monitors`PCs`Desktops`DELL Deals you can sometimes get really good deals.

Be sure it either comes with an operating system, or you possess/own a full install operating system. If you are not real computer savvy, get one with at least Windows Vista or 7 installed. It will say what is on it.

I got an E6400 laptop, no operating software (I have my own), for $143 plus $33 shipping and tax. At that price, I can afford it and if it craps out, just order another. It's nice having a portable wifi laptop to use while watching a football game.

And above all, I just got a really nice hard shower for about 45 minutes. Woohoo!

Native; It appears our rain dancing effort is beginning to pay off! I'm going to try to get my winter grass seed down in the evenings, because they have increased our chance of rain here on Friday to 50%! I don't think our chances have been that good in months! :cool2:

this time going to sow mesh to the muscle, sounds great.

I had that kind of hernia repair done in July, 1998. I later told that surgeon that if I hadn't watched him do it, I'd have sworn he left a knife in there. He told me I'd be sore, but that was sure an understatement. Hope yours goes well. It was interesting though, watching him pull things apart and sew that mesh in there. The anesthesiologist had asked me if I wanted to be put to sleep or do a spinal block and I had gone for the spinal block, since I'd never had one of those; felt like someone poured cold water down my back. And then that big stainless steel light fixture over the operating table, without the light in it being turned on, made a fine mirror for me to watch the proceedings.

Charlie and FG, I don't know if your rain dance is working or not, but the day after ya'll danced, my blackeyed peas bloomed out. Are you sure you didn't get the rain dance confused with the bloomin' dance?;) Me? I always snap my fingers to keep elephants away. Works pretty good, doesn't it?:D

I saw a good description of you on Leno last night, time for headlines.

There was an add in the paper for a "Hydration Technician"

Under the job description it said: Water lawns :D

Here's a new quiz

What do you call this? :D

Up here we call it winter squash. They didn't get very big this year, too wet and cold.
They are hard shelled and store for months.
My wife uses them in anything that calls for pumpkin.
They/she makes delicious pies.
We also just split them in half, lay cut side down in a glass bowl with water in it and cook/steam them in the microwave about 15 minutes till tender. Then scoop them out into a bowl, put a chunk of butter on top and some brown sugar and reheat for a few seconds. Really good substitute for potatoes and lots of fiber.

Real name begins with "B" and ends in "nut"

After a few of those Shiner Bock beers I may have slipped in a couple of unauthorized dance steps, but Rain Dances are free form at best. I will, however, take credit for the Blackeyed Peas bloomin' and add that to my list of accomplishments.

I know FG would never deviate from her normal dance routine or use unauthorize steps or moves. But I do know that since the dancin' on Saturday the prospect for rain has increased. Ya'll are welcome.

Ron, are you cookin' big Brazil nuts?;)

I've grown butternut squash many times and find it more trouble than it's worth to grow, store, and cook. We have so much summer squash that we never get around to eating the butternut squash. I do like it baked, but it's not high on our favorites list. I grew several spaghetti squash this year, but I'm the only one who eats them. They are too bland for my wife and grandson. They like the heavy starch in regular pasta.

Butternut Squash ! Make them several times a year, cut in half, remove seeds put butter and brown sugar on the cut side and bake 350 until tender. Great side when making pork or turkey.

That's a climate difference. Up here summer squash must be eaten right away. Winter squash is very popular as it will store in the garage all winter long. It has a rather sweet taste all on it's own.
Good food for diabetics, which we are not.
