Glad you made it home, and hope you take it easy, follow instructions, and have a smooth recovery, from here. And yes, pain medication can be our friend, but not if you take it and try to do what you shouldn't be doing. If you are going to be stubborn, then pain will be your friend, to stop you from doing what you shouldn't be doing. (Ask me how I know! I am stubborn too!)

Does anyone here have experience with Texas Farm Bureau Insurance? Their rates are really good, but don't have any experience with coverage or claims. They have a customer favorite award from JD Powers. Don't know if that really means anything.

I have had Farm Bureau Insurance for my trailer and tractor for 7 years and my truck for 9 years. I have had two fender benders (blind spots in parking lots) and they paid off ASAP. Rates are good and am considering adding my home coverage with them. I do pay a $40 a year membership fee. Last fender bender happened this year and my renewal rates were just $2 different a month.

I have the Ag Advantage farm & ranch coverage, vehicles and a $2 million umbrella. Only had 1 vehicle claim and they paid off quick and easy. Rates are the best of anyone considering what they cover, which is most everything on the Ag Advantage policy. Being a member gives you some extra perks such as a Grainger account.

Anyone going to the NHRA drag races at Texas Motorplex in Ennis this weekend? I will be there working all 4 days. It's supposed to rain all day Friday so maybe the cars will work like a rain dance. After the cold front comes thru Friday they are calling for mid 80s all weekend for highs and high 50s Sunday morning.

Well tonight was one of those nights you may remember for a long time or not.. I was setting out on the patio drinking some 28 year old scotch when my wife came out with a jar of nuts and a glass of sweet red wine.. She said it is a full moon tonight.. So we set and watched as the moon started to clear the tree line.. I thought to myself. As the moon cleared the leaves,, darn those nuts sure are good.

I had them for over 20 years, claims went smooth.
I canceled because I checked with Amica and they beat my (current at the time) rates by almost 2k year! My agent (Dennis) I had known for all that time, said he couldn't match Amica's rates, so pays to check around.
