The B26 should be hitting the shelves, any sightings?

Give me the look of the L35 or L48 but give me the straight(er) arms of the L39, no big arches and the L39's hoe style. Offer all three with HST or GST. I'm very careful with my tractor to. I never baby it, but I never drop things on it, accidentally or not.

Oh yea. One of the things I *** about to Kubota on their quality survey was why they did not use the L39 straight FEL arms on the M7040. The hood is sloped, so why not use the L39 type FEL arms. They make the view from the seat a lot better.

I saw one yesterday. It was about a mile down the road in a new neighbor's backyard sitting next to a pile of dirt. Don't know if it was resting or posing; but no one was around so it wasn't working. Almost ran off the road looking at it.

Come to think of it, the whole thing looked rather fishy. The tractor didn't appear to have a bit of dirt on it anywhere. Maybe some new kind of paint that repels dirt....

Wonder what the price range on it is. Probably not really worth the trouble of upgrading from a BX23 right now. I only got 68 hours on mine right now anyways...but it sure is fun to look!

If you hit the lottery, go for it, whats $10K, otherwise, that BX23 is doing just fine.

I spoke to a dealer on Tuesday of this week and the owner told me that they expect their first one, YA ONE the middle of April, their 2nd in mid MAY and their 3rd and last that Kubota has him schedule for is mid JUNE. He claims that Kubota wasn't planning on introducing them this early in the year, but the public has shown such interest that they are bringing them out now, but production has not be vamped up to give out a large amount until later this summer first of the fall.

Guess what?? This dealer still hasn't seen any yet and no paperwork stating when they will be in. Now on the other hand this Gotcha Man and his son received their new B26 yesterday in heavy down pours. I have all kinds of pictures, but having problems downloading them. The unit is as advertised and appears to be very rugged. For those that wondered how high the FOPS was it is 89" (7'4"). I also have many action pictures of an ole geezer and a young man trying to give it a little workout in the soggy work area with a very heavy drizzle. The ole geezer needs a lot more seat time to get the BH levers to go where I want them to. One of the first things I did was to take down the wife's clothes line as I'm not use to the FOPS as my 1983 B7100D doesn't have any problem going under it and now the 26 doesn't either. Once I can get the hang of downloading pictures I'll let you see an ole geezer trying to learn new tricks. I had to come back an edit a bit of this. The dealer we dealt with was just super and we did have a few missing parts here and there, but he is handling everything exceptionally will and working with my son in every way that he can. I would love to pass on his name, but until I have permission to do so we'll let it go at that. I know he reads the TBN so just maybe he will kick in a word or two.

Dropped by my local (Perry, GA) Kubota dealer this evening. They had a new B26. All I can say is awesome. I have no need for a backhoe whatsoever but I left wanting a B26!

I did Jump on one one in a dealer lot the other day and played around a little. Seemed very solid, stable and powerful for a small profile tractor. Wasn't used to the HST but got the hang of it. Was very ergonomic. The only thing that bothered me was the spinning seat. You still had to get of the tractor to use the BH. I understand this has to do with its size and the location of the seat is great for running the hoe. Just was kinda akward. I think you would get used to it though. With them little time I had I was impressed.

I felt the exact same thing, however after the first time in the seat and doing it just once (Getting off and rotating seat) I never gave it a thought from that time. It just came naturally. The seat is extremely comfortable at least to myself and my son. We both commented on how one could sit on it for extended periods of time and not really get uncomfortable of fatigued. Just my 7 ¢ worth.

I know the safety police will call me on this, but can you sit in the seat in the backhoe position and reach the hydro pedal using a stick or other device with longitudinal propertiesl? You know, creep to position type setup like the JD 110 only in a simplified version.

I'm thinking the B26 is gonna be my next machine - just has a few more features & better capacities that I'm looking for compared to a B3030 with hoe. Looking forward to being able to check one out on a dealer's lot - haven't seen any out here yet, and I've got some time before I'm ready for it.

No as there is a safety switch so one can not do that, but you can put it in N and push/ pull your tractor with the boom/dipper to a new set up if that is what your asking??? Now if you really want the safety police after your Ar's the switch is in the wide open and very easy to say hold it closed. I really didn't say that did I???
