It'll be higher. Customer has picked up a Bluebird or equivalent and wants to use the driveway instead of the construction entrance.

i know myself i always like the idea of making everything 14 ft clearence, entrances, wires, doorways if possible, just cause that means anything that can be on the road will fit, of course if a truck pulls up and they have half the towns telephone wires trailing behind them, the yes 14 ft isnt enough, but if the drivers that incompetent then thats the least of the worries! how tall is the gate now anyhow?

OK, I'm confused, what is a Bluebird or equivalent and how does it factor into the height of the gate? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Bluebird is a top of the line RV. I've heard they are the very best, which is debatable, but they are very pricey and based on a comercial bus chasis. Half a million bucks to start, with some extreme custom ones for as much as 2 million.

Ohhhhhhhhh, don't know why I was thinking in the lines of some sort of tractor/crane equipment, da.

Bluebird makes a number of busses, including school busses. I think 30 years ago their motorhomes were top of the line without peer. Today, they're still right up there, although the Prevost conversions just might upstage them a tiny bit. But as has been said, there's no need to go shopping for one unless you have upwards of a half million to spend.

We've got a check, a plan, and now a project, a redo.

Since it's going to start raining tonight I decided this afternoon to pull the gate and overhead.

This is what it looked like first off.
