Egon, after rereading your post it sounds like I'd be better off with bolts anyhow.

Dumbdog, I googled Fastenall and found out that we're surrounded by them. I will be calling them shortly.

If this is the pin with the tapered end that engages the lower QA bracket, it is DEFINITELY hardened!

That's which one it is.

Fastenall priced a 30 x180 grade 5 metric bolt at $22 with 2 days needed to get it in. By the time I bought a locknut and washer, I'd be pushing Kubota's price.

My latest plan is to bite the bullet and buy the Kubota pin, then replace the lynchpins that hold them with bolts and nyloc nuts. I could get these off with the wrenches I keep on the tractor. That way, no more lost pins and only slight inconvenience changing out implements.
