Kyle, I think you'll slide sideways long before you roll over. The center of gravity is really low, but that might be my feeling with the 48" mower deck. Without it, I'm sure it's more tippy. Also, when I started mine up, the exhaust of that single cylinder B&S belched so loudly that all the babies within a city block woke up crying.
I tried several mufflers including an old volkswagen stub muffler. Nothing worked much better than the old common screw-on exhausts. I'd turn it forward or wear ear protection. Turned upward or down will put you in the hearing danger zone. BTW: I think that cast iron engine has roller bearing mains on the crank. I'm not sure, but one lawn mower shop told me that. Also, as with anything using points, you may experience condensation on humid days that causes start/run problems. That little cover was sealed with RTV gasket material on mine when I got it.
