I did not read all of the postings, so this may have been said. But the answer is Massy Ferguson. It is very poplar in the middle east.

He may be like to many of the AGCO people. Being eaten up with AGCO causes them too not to want to see that their money comes from Massey Ferguson. They can't let go of Allis-Chalmers. Allis as a brand is dead; they need let it lie in peace. I am not saying anything bad about the tractors and equipment that they made. They made some of the best equipment ever, but the company is history.

Granted, I have not looked at AGCO's site in a while, but a lot of their tractors seemed like they were the same machine only painted different colors. Do they still make an AGCO-Allis?
I agree. There is no more Allis Chalmers. Case-IH should have let Farmall lie also. A DX is a nice tractor, but it isn't a Farmall. A Farmall is a row-crop tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

No. The way I see it is that they are holding on to Allis through the AGCO brand tractor. (Allis Gleaner Co.) It has been propped up by other money ever since they started with that brand. Put the money where is will do the most good, not into starting another brand. One of the 21 or so brands under the AGCO umbrella has supplied the vast majority of the money to allow them to purchase nearly all of the other brands.
