Right back at you!

You are obviously no stranger to a project! (your avatar pic)

Cheers

Regardless of the product you bought, how you use it, what your expectations of your GT is, you worked hard to make it YOURS. Now that you put much effort into your GT, I hope it now gives you many years of enjoyment! Your pictures and documentary shows us all what can be done to SAVE a piece of equipment.

Thanks for following, and the respectful comment. It looks like you might be familiar with my sand, central FL no matter where, is only a couple hrs from the sandy coastline, this State is a bit of a large sand bar, right?:)

Is your box blade the Agri-Fab or brinly?
How do you like it?
Whats your thoughts on that JB power sleeve?

One of the things I really like on that Cub Cadet you have is the Hydro-Gear that has a removable oil filter, any thoughts?
We retired and moved from 1 acre to 1.5 and from the Florida east coast to Marion County, north central Florida. The only thing keeping Florida from being a complete desert in the central ridge and the humidity coming east and west from the Atlantic and the Gulf.
I've lived in Florida for 50+ years and had a number of Lawn Tractors, some even had pretence to be Garden Tractors. But they weren't.
I even went so far as to see if there was a standard to distinguish lawn mowers from lawn tractors and lawn tractors from garden tractors. And concluded it's only in the mind of ad men.
It's easy, too easy to stumble into posting something that we wouldn't be caught saying.
Keep doing as you are and ignore the static.

We are all entitled to our opinions, after all it's a forum, right?

Out of all the things that were done to create a durable GT, you found nothing interesting?

Out of all the work I put in this to give as much picture record as possible to possibly (for free) inspire someone out there to take on an idea of there own in a project, I would have thought something would be of interest?

Off the top of my head, the Craftsman PYT-9000 that you have, is that the Simplicity built tractor? Between that and the JD X-300 how do their mowing decks compare?

Respectfully,

-GT

Interesting? Absolutely!
Impressed? - Skill and perseverance far beyond my level.
The task of the total rebuild is probably far beyond anything that I, nor many more on here, would even think about attempting. Throw in the many hours of documenting every step takes a lot more time and effort than many know.
You did a wonderful job, both in the mechanical craftsmanship and the documentation. Congrats on a job well done!

I am genuinely humbled by not just what you said, but also the knowledge you have expressed. Thank you.

Trying to document a project well seems easy, until it's tried.

Cheers,
