The rollover plow

My latest aqusition. Edwards 3500 14" 2 bottom rollover plow. It's missing what ever kind of cylinders and linkage to make it rollover. Would trying to adapt a hydraulic motor to it be a good idea? Or should I try and adapt new cylinders to it? I would kinda like to make it work again somehow. bjr

Couldn't say on that.... looks like two boat anchors got tangled togeather. Took me a minute to see the purpose in it.

No cylinder required (at least for most of the rollovers). As you may be aware, these plows are for looonnnnnggg straight fields. Get to one end, lift and flip and turn and go back the same way you came with the other rear tire in the furrow....Once you get it on your tractor, you will get a better feel for what has to be done. Suggest you get a manual for it. Color indicates its a Ford....BobG in VA

Looks like a little welding in needed also as each shoe is cracked. I'd be afraid of losing a piece before long. Pretty cool otherwise. I know Ford and Fergeson both had several companies making their plows, but I don't recall if Edwards was one of them. I do agree however, it does look like an old Ferge or Ford plow.
