Before you say that you ought to read the ruling more carefully. It doesn't specifically exclude cemeteries or any generalizations thereof. It is a very alarming ruling; although I know Junkman is kidding, his prod is well taken.

Every time I hear about condemning property for business development it makes me want to puke! Remember the supreme court case does not control what states do. If your state doesn't allow it, it won't happen. Here is Texas, the state legislature is working on a proposition to change the Texas constitution to keep this from happening, that will have to be voted on by the public.

They are ratcheting up the pressure. The Sheriff just served me with a Cease and Desist Order from the town demanding that I stop running a junkyard. Pulling our legs I would assume. The cease and desist order should come before the condemnation letter.

The letter advising of the condemnation is just an advisory letter. The Cease and Desist Order comes from higher up. I just know that they are going to hassle me some more, since they want the black sheep out of town as quickly as possible. All that I can say to that it Baaaaaaa /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I intend to be like a rose.... pretty to look at, but a thorn in their side.. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Going to try to meet with the town fathers next week and see what they have in mind for the property. Until then, I am just going to sit back and see what they have in mind. I already have a invite to live in PineRidge's pole barn with the dogs, but he said that the wife has to stay behind.
