So, this grapple doesn't come with a QA bracket welded to it ?

He is talking about an adapter to convert his FEL to Skid Steer from pin on.

Turns out Fedex had my grapple all along. Their tracking info was hosed... I went and got my new 50" Wicked Grapple this morning! I'm still waiting, though... WR Long hasn't built my Quick Attach Adapter yet. This gives me some time to get my hoses sorted out. The teeth on that lid are pretty sharp!

Glad you got is and didn't have to wait for it come back from Texas. It's just hard to get good help.

Heres my experience with our local POST OFFICE today, Sorry is it long but I feel better. Yesterday the 25th get an Email stating USPS Ready for Pickup "Your package is ready for pickup at your designated post office". Your item arrived at the Towns post office at 9:51 a.m. on January 25, 2018 and is ready for pickup.
Tracking Number:?XXXXXXXXXX.

It was cold and raining, I wasn't going to install it till Saturday so my plan was to pick all my mail on friday about 2 pm as all the mail should be up by then. I drive to the post office open my mail box to grab the mail from the last 3 days and I do not see a pink card which would state YOU HAVE A PACKAGE AT THE FRONT COUNTER?

So I go to the front counter I explain I have a pkg but no pink package slip in my mail box, I give him my box #, he tells me, Oh it proably has not been delivered yet. I tell him I got a tracking email stating it was delivered yesterday. He wanders around in the back comes back and sez cann't find it. He asks can I give him the tracking number? So now I have to drive home take off my boots and start my computer.

I call him with the tracking number he says yes it is here, I explain I was just there and you couldn't find it! Do you have it now ? Oh (Now he figures out it's me) I will look for it when I have time. I explain I need it today. He calls me at 3:30 pm he has found it. I drive back down to the post office luckily there is a parking spot. I go to the counter and he hands me a 3 inch cardboard cylinder he apologies. I get home I'm thinking boy they sure cramped those hoses in that cylinder. I go to the shop to remove them from the cylinder as I rotate the cylinder to remove the staples that are holding the end pieces on, I see written on the tube 1 of 2.
The tube contains either a calendar or a guide to hyd hose fittings as I didn't waste time pulling them out The other missing package must contain the hoses. I call the post office they close the lobby at 4 pm, and work in the back till 4:30. But he never answers the phone. Now I will have to drive down again tomorrow morning as the Post Office is open till Noon but the lobby is closed on Sat. I will have to knock on the lobby door to his attention and KNOCK I WILL. Lesson learned, I could have saved a couple of bucks and used UPS instead of Priority Mail. Oh I will print out my tracking number before going to Post office tomorrow morning. Good help is hard to get.

Kevin in Georgia is enjoying a 60" Single Lid Wicked Grapple on his Mahindra 2538.

In the EA Channel Facebook Group over the weekend, he said one of the main reasons he bought a Mahindra is the weight and lifting ability. He weighed it the other day as shown(less the tree) and it came in at 5700 pounds!

Load the rears, add the box and I'd say deuces.
Travis

In my brothers case it's best he keep it light that way, AS it will spin a rear wheel easier. As he has already bent loader bucket and box scraper.

Nope, fluid fill your rear tires, you won’t go wrong. Simple physics.

Rick, My Kubota 5140 was ballasted up by dealership for the previous owner.(has all the bells and whistles except a Cab w/ Sound & A/C) As a bare tractor it's weight was aprox 5160 lbs After dealer installed Loader & bucket, front weight, rear wheel weights & ballast in rear tires in now weights aprox 8920 lbs

Just a few more pics of my KUBOTA L4710 DT w/ 66" dual-lid EA grapple-bucket... I know how we all love to look at tractor pics... Should be obvious why I like this particular configuration...

The pics you're sharing are methodically illustrating an intelligent and well thought out buying decision!

COME AND GET IT...

It breaks my heart to waste all this good firewood... I also hang in the Tennessee mountain/New England coastal areas where I heat my house(s)/domestic hot water (exclusively wood-fired thermo-syphon) with 7-10 cords/year... In Florida they have Live Oak which is some of the best heating/smoking wood... The recent hurricane (IRMA) damaged/destroyed MANY of these trees and there is no market for the wood... I WISH I could salvage more of it... I currently have 7+ cords of oak cut/split/seasoned for fireplace/stove-wood, 1+ cord of oak pizza-oven wood, several cords of oak for cooking/smoking, several cords of oak bonfire wood and MANY pine lumber-logs and some rotting firewood wasting AWAY AND I AM JUST A SMALL-TIME TREE FARMER... Some day 'they' will recycle all wood the way we currently recycle copper/aluminum... BTW, I chip almost all my brush and turn it into mulch/potting soil and I sell all my extra pot ash to local organic gardeners... I will/do custom cut/split... So, I am trying, but it is sad to see so much going to waste... I doubt that you/ET al have any idea how much is really/actually wasted... I am trying/doing what I can...

Today I finished cleaning-up from hurricane IRMA... Took 5 months, burned 135+ brush/debris piles and at least 30 LARGE long-leaf-pine trees/logs along with a LOT of chipping/mulching... NOTE: Could not have done this without my dual-lid EA Wicked Grapple Bucket... These pics don't show a lot of action, just a little tractor/grapple-****... I have already started the next project, installing a 50' HAM radio antenna tower (does not involve a EA grapple, sorry, no pics)... EA ExposedRams.JPG Jaws.JPG MyView.JPG

What are the rags covering the cylinder shafts for? .........Bill

What are the rags covering the cylinder shafts for? .........Bill

Oily rags wrapped on hydraulic cylinder shafts help protect them from rusting/getting scratched... When the lids are closed, (which is the 'normal' way to store the grapple-bucket) the shafts are exposed, so I keep them covered/wrapped... I put that pic in there as a reminder...
