All I can say is that Im turning to this thread for advice on my next rifle purchase, because the wife just couldnt quite understand why I needed the last one !

Guns, it must be a guy thing.....

I just bought a stainless lever action Marlin 1895 chambered in the 45/70. Very nice shooter and will drop anything roaming Vermont. Ammo is a tad pricey, but she sure is purdy.

My uncle owned one of those in blue. We loaded most of the ammo that went through it, very easy cartridge to load.

Still trying to decide on my next gun.

Wait until you are up on the roof hanging onto the chimney for dear life with one hand and trying to fix the antenna mount with the other and DW calls on the phone to pass the time of day...

That is why they invented voice mail. I have no problem letting the phone go to voice mail if I am doing something. :thumbsup:

Because they are cool. You can never have too many guns, but you can have too few closets. You can't have too much ammo either.
