Frank:

I could get away with the garage thing. My garage is heated and air-conditioned and has a fridge too. I need a cot though. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

A COT!!!!!!!! That air conditioned cab is making you soft. Since when did the dog house come with a cot?

If needing mirrors means you are mechanically challenged, then put me in that catagory. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My tractor came with 2 mirrors on the outside of the cab and I have added 4 to the inside. 3 are probably about 1 ft in front of my eyes.

I can straddle the rear finish mower wheels on either side of a tree, touch the mower deck to the tree and never skin the bark. I seldom have to turn around to look backwards.

I think your wifey is a smart cookie and you are a lucky man to have her. Also a smart man to be trying to find a way to get those mirrors for her. If you don't get enough seat time, you can always become a two tractor family. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Our dogs live in the house. Just like Junkman, I share the house with the dogs (and cats). My shop is mine. Complete with girlie pictures on the walls and motorcycles too. Come to think of it, I do need a couch out there. My fridge is always stocked and I have a microwave too. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

A mirror is a great idea. I feel much safer while traveling on the road. Sometimes I go about 7 miles on a state highway.

I found a big car rear view mirror at a grarge sale for $1. (Go to an auto junk yard.) I drilled, countersunk the metal windshield tab for a flat head screw. Then I drilled/tapped the canopy frame. I also mixed and used 5 minute epoxy when I screwed the mirror tab to the canopy frame. Works great for $1. For my use it is better than a convex mirror because I can see the cars and trucks when they are a long ways away.
