It's what I try and tell everyone. Orange is the best color ever!!!

A can of orange paint would cover that blue.

Yes and no. It's an Ariens 27-ton that I bought from the local True Value hardware store. Same price. About three years old. Has a solid steel beam. Last year they changed to a formed beam using heavy sheet steel so the beam and wood stop/foot is hollow. Not sure I'd buy it again given that change. But it is still orange!

Those are the nicest splitter I have seen in a box store. I like how everything is arranged on it, it looks very user friendly. I'd like to have one but I don't have that much need for a splitter, I just use a maul or splitting axe.

94BULLITT, it's an X7 hatchet, I have a few of them. Keep em in my trucks too. I also have a 9" Fiskars brush clearing tool which works great for light brush and vines/briars etc. I also have an older Stihl splitting axe and hatchet which were made by Fiskars. They make nice tools

The X7 is a nice little hatchet. I have seen the brush tool, I may get it or the machete. I have a pair of fiskars hand pruner, lopers and a leaf rake. The leaf rake is the best one I have ever used. Fiskars stuff is usually really nice for the money. I did not know that Fiskars made stuff for Stihl at one point in time.

They did, not sure if they still do. I didn't realize they made it until after using it. I'm guessing I paid a bit more for the Stihl name on it though.

The shades of orange have been getting more use in the woods. I can't believe how much easier it is working out of the RTV as opposed to a tractor or ATV. Each definately has it's place.
